You have found a nest and you want it dealt with rather than explained. This page is about the booking itself: what the fixed price covers, what makes a nest a standard one, and the handful of situations we would rather raise with you on the phone than find on the doorstep.
Book a wasp nest treatment at £90 fixed price, and if the nest is still active within 30 days we come back at no extra cost. Call 0800 955 2347.

One price, one nest, wherever in London the property stands. The figure does not shift with the postcode, the floor a flat is on, or whether the entrance is under the slates of a terrace or in the grass of a suburban lawn. It covers our attendance and the treatment of the nest you have found. What it does not cover is building work: refixing a soffit board, repointing a stack or opening a boxed-in pipe run are jobs for a roofer or a builder, before or after we have been.
A second nest at the same address is a second nest, and you will hear what that comes to before anything is arranged. Commercial premises are quoted for the site rather than at the domestic fixed price.
Standard means ordinary and reachable. A nest in eaves or soffits, inside an air brick or a wall cavity, in a disused chimney, a loft, a garage, a shed or a bird box, deep in a hedge, or in the ground beneath a lawn all fall inside it. So do domestic heights: the roofline of a two-storey terrace or a three-storey conversion is routine, as is a garden reached through the house or a side gate.

What decides a wasp visit in London is rarely the insect and almost always the access. In a Victorian terrace the nest is usually on the roofline or in the brickwork, and the garden is reached either down a side return or through the house, so we need to know which. In a house converted into flats, the roof, the eaves and the stack belong to the building rather than to any one flat, so it is worth telling the freeholder or the managing agent even when you are the person booking. Purpose-built blocks add communal walkways, bin stores and balconies, and an entrance may sit above a neighbour's window rather than yours. Interwar semis with gardens and garages give the easiest working room; flats above shops the least, because the low roof over the shop's back extension is often no part of the flat.
Most domestic nests sit between head height and the ridge of a two-storey roof, and that is the range this visit is built around. Above it the job becomes access equipment rather than pest control, which is the point at which a phone call beats an arrival. Tell us how high the entrance is and what stands beneath it, and we can say before you commit whether it is the standard job. Wasps nesting inside walls covers the one case where what you see outside tells you least about what lies behind.

The fixed price is guaranteed for 30 days from the visit: if the nest is still active inside that window, we return and there is nothing further to pay. Active carries its ordinary meaning - a working two-way stream at the same opening - rather than the stragglers that drift about afterwards, or a fresh nest a different queen has begun elsewhere on the building. How long wasp nest treatment takes to work describes what the following days normally look like, and will wasps return after treatment explains why a dead nest is not taken over the next year.
Wasp work runs across all 33 boroughs at the same fixed price. Brent is the borough written up in full so far: Wasp Nest Removal Brent gives the borough view and leads down to the individual areas, and Pest Control Brent lists every service there. For the practical side - whether a nest is live, what to do while you wait, and why an entrance must never be blocked - our London wasp advice is the page to read. If the noise above a bedroom ceiling is heavier than insects it is squirrel control you want, and winged insects boiling out of a path joint on one humid afternoon are flying ants.
£90 fixed price for a standard wasp nest treatment anywhere in London — and if the nest is still active within 30 days, we come back at no extra cost.
A standard nest anywhere in London is £90 fixed price, and the figure is the same in the loft of an outer suburban semi as it is in the eaves of an inner-London terrace. Nothing is added for the borough, the floor or the height while the nest sits inside the ordinary domestic range; anything beyond it is put to you before you book rather than afterwards. The price is guaranteed for 30 days, so if it is still active in that window the return visit is at no extra cost. Business premises are quoted for the site.

Yes - one nest, one fixed price, whichever borough you are in and whatever the nest is built in. If yours is one of the few that falls outside that, you will hear so when you ring rather than when we arrive. A second nest at the same address is priced separately and confirmed with you first.
Anyone can make the booking, but a roof, an eaves run or a communal walkway belongs to the building rather than to your flat, so tell your landlord and the managing agent too. Where roof access has to be arranged, that needs settling before a visit is worth making. Say which flat is yours and which windows face the entrance when you call.
Ordinary domestic heights are the standard job - the roofline of a two- or three-storey home. Above that a nest usually calls for access equipment, and we would talk it through with you first. Describe how high the entrance looks and what stands beneath it and you can have an answer before booking.
No. Closing a live nest in simply makes the colony work its way out somewhere else, and in a loft or a wall that somewhere is often a room. Leave the opening exactly as it is until after the visit, then have the joint repaired.
Send a photograph with your enquiry. Bees are dealt with differently and several kinds are better left in peace, so it is worth settling before a booking is made. Wasp nest or bee nest sets the two side by side.
There is usually no need. A nest is not reused once the colony has died, so unless it sits somewhere it will be a nuisance it can stay put. Taking one out of a wall or a ceiling means opening the structure up, which is a builder's work rather than ours.
It is a poor trade. A disturbed colony defends itself together, and the spots nests choose - ladders, cramped lofts, underfoot - are the worst places to be stung. Is it safe to remove a wasp nest yourself? goes through the risks. After any sting, call 999 if there is difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, or faintness.
Cold, wet or windy weather quietens a nest for a day, and a colony at the very start or the very end of its year is slow anyway. If there has been no traffic at all at that opening across several warm days, tell us before the visit, because a papery shell left from last year needs nothing done to it. How to know if you have a wasp nest lists the signs.

Brent's borough, area and local service pages are live. The other boroughs are covered on the same published prices — call or send the form and we will arrange it.
Tell us the borough and postcode, what the building is, where the insects are going in and roughly how high, and how the back is reached. Send the booking form or ring, and we will confirm that it is the standard £90 fixed price before you commit to anything.
